Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a system of natural health care which combines muscle monitoring with the principles of Chinese medicine to assess energy and body function, applying a range of gentle yet powerful healing techniques to improve health, well-being and vitality.

Muscle testing is the process used to access the body's innate intelligence and trigger relevant information that requires correcting at that moment in time. Your body's subconscious uses 48 brain cells to every one used in the conscious mind. Muscle testing bypasses the conscious mind and accesses the subconscious.

A fundamental premise of Kinesiology is that the body has innate healing energy but sometimes it needs to be helped into a better position to activate this healing. Kinesiology also recognizes that there are flows of energy within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue and organ that go to make the body a living, feeling being.

These energy flows can be evaluated by testing the function of the muscles, which in turn reflect the body's overall state of structural chemical, or emotional balance.

Kinesiology looks beyond the symptomsand does not diagnose or treat named diseases. Kinesiology is concerned with imbalances in the body's energy. In this respect, Kinesiology has close links with the acupuncture concept of energy flow. Kinesiology is not limited to dealing with ailments. The Healing Session:

I start the session by discussing which areas of healing you wish to focus on. During the session, you lie fully clothed and relaxed on a massage table while soft soothing music is played in the background.

Muscle testing is used to assess any underlying imbalances, which can be corrected during the session using a variety of corrections, facilitating healing at a deep level.

This can help bring improved energy and increase emotional balance.

It can be used to help relieve past traumas and current upsets, also to defuse anxiety about forthcoming challenges.

Identification of food sensitivities is another area of use. Aches and pains, related to poor posture, can be helped by the muscle balancing itself.
